Physics Project
For my physics project, I decided to make a figure lights up and still be able to spin. I chose to do this because I believed that it would be a simple task to do and if I did it right, it would get me a good grade. It turns out that it wasn’t as simple as I thought. I ended up running into many casualities such as not being able to spin the spinner. It took a lot of thought but I finally figure it out. I decided to glue a stick onto the spinner so that I could hold it and be able to spin it. What this says about me is that I get bored very easily and I always require something to do or else, I won’t know what to do with myself.

Internet Survival Guide
1. The internet has changed our community in many different types of ways. For example, the way that people communicate now is through the internet. It is a lot more convenient than sending letters or meeting up with people because everybody doesn’t always have time to write a letter or meet with someone just to talk about something.
2. While using the internet you have to be careful of Immediacy, Permanence, and Lack of Control. Immediacy is when you send something or post something and it is uploaded immediately. Permanence is when you post or send something and it will be on the internet for ever. Finally, Lack of Control is when you no longer have control over something that you send or posted to the internet.
3. Immediacy, Permanence, and Lack of Control affects our online and offline lives because if you post something or send something that everyone can see, you can get in trouble online and get in even more trouble in real life.
4. Two ways that you can actively protect your online identity is by one, making a password that even you can’t remember. Also, you can try and make yourself private on whatever you are using so only people you know can see what you post.
5. Does the internet have rules. The answer is no. But, on almost everything that you use on the internet, it has a terms of service also. In those terms of service it tells you what you are allowed to do and what you are not allowed to do.
6. Cyberbullying is when you constantly harass someone or attack someone of the internet to get them angry or scared/worried.
7. One type of cyberbullying is trolling. Trolling is when you purposely say things to get someone mad. This is cyberbullying because someone is purposely bothering someone for the sole purpose of making them mad. Another type of cyberbullying is Mashups. Mashups is when you take a photo of someone and edit it to insult the person or just as a funny joke. This is cyberbullying because you are making fun of a person so that other people can laugh at it.
8. Some advice that I have for victims of cyberbullying is to try and not take what people say so personally so that you don’t get hurt from it. Also, you should tell someone that you are being cyberbullied and they might be able to do something about it in order for it to stop.
9. My 5 tips for using the internet are make passwords that you can’t remember, don’t post anything that will hurt somebody, keep your accounts private, don’t share anything of your accounts with others, and do anything on the internet that could affect you.
Learn - Create - Lead
Creativity while learning… makes me feel like I can express myself more in my work. Even though it is harder to create something while doing an assignment, it is also fun at the same time. I feel like it is fun to create things in writings or projects because you can express yourself and make it fun for yourself. Instead of doing a strict assignment where you can only do so and so, you can come up with ideas of your own and make the project or assignment or whatever exceed expectations. I also feel like being creative in your work will make you better at what you’re doing. For example, if you’re writing something you could add little puns or something like that. It enhances your writing and to me, it seems like it is more interesting to read than a boring old paper about the revolutionary war. Nobody wants to read some paper just stating facts and theories and what not. Why not make it more interesting for others. Also being creative will help you think better. For example, let's say someone had an idea about something super important but had trouble backing it up. You could use your creative mind and come up with tons of ideas in order to contribute. I feel like everyone should try to be creative in work because it is easier to use what you know than doing tons of research online in order to finish something. It lightens up the load for you by a bit. Also, being creative in ordinary situations could help quite a bit for others. For example, let’s say that you and your friends were just sitting inside doing nothing and had no idea what to do that day. You with your creative mind could throw in ideas and possibly come up with something to do so that you and your friends can have some fun. Being creative in class is probably that best place to be creative. For example, the teacher asks a question where opinions are good answers. You could come up with tons of ideas to help contribute. You could blow the other kids out of the park with your mind. See that right there. That being creative :p. Being creative is just a good thing to be able to do because it helps you learn, you can throw out ideas without even having to think about it, help out in boring situations, and being creative can help you or lighten the load of work you have to do.

Nicole's Situtation
In my article a girl was cyber bullied and accused for telling on kids who came to school drunk when she had no idea about the incident. It started when she was celebrating her 17th birthday with her friends at a concert when the mean hate messages started coming in. Apparently kids were planning to secretly attack her at a In and Out burger. The attack never happen but she was attacked through the internet instead. Some kids got in trouble at school for being drunk and everyone thought it was her who told on the kids when she didn’t even know until about two weeks later. She was scared that she was getting so many hate messages. Even during lunch she wondered to herself if the kids at the table next to her were talking about her or they were the ones sending the messages. She eventually tried to respond to mean messages but that just got her even more hate and since she had her phone with her all the time she couldn’t run away from the hate. A few of her friends stuck with her but many of them turned on her. She even tried to get help from the school but the school even said that they couldn’t help. She eventually came to the conclusion that she had control over what she recieved, so she deleted her facebook account and swore that she wouldn’t read any mean comments. Ignoring the bullies wasn’t enough though. Her mother became worried about her and decided to do research on cyberbullies. She even spoke out at schools about the topic. Kids began to want to hear about cyberbullying from a teen. The girl, Nicole, jumped out at that opportunity in order help kids who are getting cyberbullies and get back at her bullies. She started a challenge called the “Great American NO BULL Challenge”. She then later got a message apologizing to her. This gave Nicole instant relief and made her feel like the world was one step forward to balance again.
