Imagine this, it's your last year of school, 12th grade, and you have to start all over at a new school. No friends, no teachers that you are close with, no relationships, nothing. Life outside of school is... complicated, there are things no one knows about. Now think of a flower, it needs to be cared for in order for it to grow right? It needs sun, water, dirt, etc., in order to prosper and be the best it can be. Can you imagine that being you? I can, because it was me. I had to come to Science Leadership Academy after my school closed so that I could finish up high school. It wasn't something that I was looking forward to but had to do. For my project, I wanted to do something that reflected me and my experiences while attending this school for the first and last time. In a way that showed my talents that many knew nothing about, I chose to do art. I created 4 paintings, all with their own explanations that show or reflect how I really felt during the year regardless of whether they were good or bad. My progression, development, and discoveries.

"Frustration or Laughter,

Friends are flowers that never fade or die,

Surround yourself with people who allow you to blossom,

A smile after you have been through the worst,

Filling my life with beauty and happiness even when it is dark and sad,

Memories slowly created, never to be forgotten"
