Drought
The atmosphere provides the geosphere with the necessary heat and energy for erosion. In response, the geosphere reflects the sun’s energy back into the atmosphere. The atmosphere provides the biosphere with gas, heat, and sunlight (energy). It pumps water from the hydrosphere. An understanding of environmental science can aid in handling natural disasters by getting people to understand the cause of natural disasters. Once people understand that, they can understand and learn how to take steps and action to reduce the part they play in creating or inducing these disasters. To create a sustainable future, we can use less electricity and water. We can also, teach others to properly recycle. Learning that drought is also considered water that was already on the land drying out was one of my takeaways. I assumed that the water from a lake or pond would stay there until used. Once I continued to read about the topic I completely understood the process.
