1. How do the earth systems affect each other? - When a parcel of air in the atmosphere becomes saturated with water, precipitation, such as rain or snow, can fall to Earth's surface. 2. How can an understanding of environmental science aid in handling natural disasters? - Allows you to be prepared for any situation in a natural disaster. 3. What efforts can we make to create a sustainable future? -Recycle and reuse, Go paperless. Save energy.

1. How do the earth systems affect each other? The earth systems affect each other by interacting with one another; the 4 systems need one another to function properly. 2. How can an understanding of environmental science aid in handling natural disasters? Having an understanding of environmental science would best aid people in trying to survive, and being prepared to take action in order to save others. 3. What efforts can we make to create a sustainable future? Efforts we can make to create a sustainable feature are getting a grip on climate change, meaning planting more trees, and limiting the use of nonreusable plastics.

1. How do the earth systems affect each other? How earth systems can affect each other is something in one sphere can prompt events in another sphere. 2. How can an understanding of environmental science aid in handling natural disasters? Having an understanding of environmental science can aid in handling natural disasters by allowing us to know why these things happen, the severity of them, and how to prepare when they occur. 3. What efforts can we make to create a sustainable future? Efforts we can make to create a sustainable future is having a better understanding of the environment.

Lucas Drinen - Natural Disasters

Essential Questions: 1. What happens in one earth system can trigger events in others. For example, an earthquake in the geosphere can cause a tsunami in the hydrosphere. A volcanic eruption in the geosphere can pollute the atmosphere. 2. Understanding how the environment and earth systems work can help us prepare for disaster. Knowing how these systems interact is important for ensuring peoples safety. As mentioned in the previous question, knowing how one disaster can trigger another can prepare us for what comes next. 3. Understanding how the environment works and how to take care of it is the key to a sustainable future.

How do the earth systems affect each other? - Humans use farm tools that were manufactured from geosphere materials, and precipitation from the atmosphere falls down and waters plants How can an understanding of environmental science aid in handling natural disasters? - It always you to be prepared in case something happens, you will know how to properly handle the situation, that way you can stay safe What efforts can we make to create a sustainable future? - For starters you can recycle, every little thing can help. You can reduce your carbon footprint, try to change your eating habits because mass production of meat can also be bad. 1. How do the earth systems affect each other? The Systems can affect each other in different ways. The tornado for example is the atmosphere affecting all other systems, like moving rocks, waves, or animals. 2. How can an understanding of environmental science aid in handling natural disasters? Knowing both the cause and the limits of natural disasters are key in preparing for them. 3. What efforts can we make to create a sustainable future? We should make sure any negative effects we leave on the environment are contractable or at least as small as possible.

D Band - Tips on Staying Safe in a Tsunami

Essential Questions 1. The earth systems affect each other by triggering a reaction in each others' sphere, causing them to interact with each other 2. You can use the knowledge of the earth systems and how natural disasters affect the earth systems to figure out a solution to be more careful and prepare for evacuation. 3. I believe you can create a sustainable future by being more involved in issues surrounding climate change and help people become more aware of how our climate is doing and where it will be going in the future. I had a lot of fun doing my research and discovering new perspectives on how the environment works. It aids in the discovery of remedies to avert catastrophes like tsunamis. Tsunamis fascinate me, and this project taught me a lot about them. I like to create interesting infographics and help people stay safe in the event of a tsunami.

  1. Earth systems play a role in helping each other operate. The geosphere, for example. has four subsystems: lithosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, and atmosphere. The atmosphere helps to regulate the hydrosphere (both play a part in supplying sustainable air for the life forms on earth.

  2. Understanding environmental science can aid in helping us understand just how close-knit everything in the this blue, brown, and green ball of life and energy affect us. We will have more compassion for all the beings that contribute to the systems in which we need to maintain life and survive.

  3. I enjoyed researching and finding new ways in which the environment processes, maintains, and sustains. This can help in assisting the planet as well as gaining a light-heart towards the overall earth.
